What is your blog about?
This blog was started because I need a creative outlet to compensate for having a boring life. I enjoy playing with words and I have no shame about my lack of training or my inability to spell or use grammar correctly.
Why do you phrase things the way you do?
I have become bored with the single note melodies being created with the latest dialect for messaging and #twittertags @thosewhodoit. I believe that the English language isn't getting sufficient exercise and is getting really out of shape and maybe a little bloated. I feel that in expressing the views of the character being depicted that it's only fair to take a sentence around the block a time or two before letting it go.
What are your qualifications to write a blog?
All I can say is I have a diverse background of experiences and an over-active imagination. I grew up in a rural Texas town, moved to a city, worked as a musician, worked several trades, lived on the west coast, lived on the east coast, went to college, and there are many other things I will skip over.

Are movies a big part of your life?
Yes. I watch movies the way many men watch sports. I enjoy all kinds of movies, even if they are bad. My theory is that you never know when you are going to find a diamond in the rubble. There might be one scene in a movie that could cause you to change the path you are on.
Are different forms of art related?
Most definitely. The most important quest in anyone's life is to feel like they are understood by somebody. Artist are usually the ones most frustrated in this area. Art is a language, it is the language of expression. Math is also a language of expression so in can be tied into this bond as well. Philosophy is expressing a belief system, lump it in. Everything is related in some way.
How are words, music and math related?
An example would be: the phrasing of a sentence is to words what a melody is to music. A phrase or melody is the same as an equation of mood or feeling.
